Mountainview is a working vineyard. In Chardonnay house, you can find peace and tranquillity, surrounded by mountains and wildlife, ranging from the majestic fish eagle to the occasional cape leopard or breeding pair of eagles. You are free to roam the farm and its mountains or follow the many trails on the farm. Swim in the rock pool filled with crystal clear mountain water or climb a steep hill to view indigenous rock art.
This is a self catering unit. Bring food and water (the tap water is potable) , hiking boots/shoes. The kitchen is fully equipped and outside barbecue is available.
You are two and a half hours from Cape Town, and thirty minutes from Robertson. The farm is secluded and very safe. Approximately 10 kilometres is a good dirt road. If you would like to use the farm as a base for your exploration of the Western Cape, let us know and we will assist in arranging day trips (e.g. wine tasting, nature reserves, ferry and tractor rides, ostrich farms, etc.) at very reasonable rates.
The Kitchen:
Furnished with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Crockery, glassware and silverware provided.
A gas stove and air fryer are available. Electric kettle and a hob kettle, as well as braai equipment available.
The Living Room:
This space is perfect for spending time with family and friends.
Furnished with comfortable sofas, a multimedia console and an indoor fireplace.

Space for two people with an en-suite bathroom and big window doors to the terrace outside.
The Loft:
The loft room has two double beds, with two child beds. It has its own bathroom with a shower, and a window door that leads to a little private balcony overlooking the beautiful landscape.
